Abington Township officials announced today that the municipal government of City of Blue Springs, Missouri has entered into a friendly competition with the township for the Super Bowl.

According to their post, if the Philadelphia Eagles win, Blue Springs will send Abington “some of their best BBQ. If the Kansas City Chiefs win, we’re shipping them our iconic cheesesteaks.”

“But that’s not all—the losing Mayor or Board President will wear the winning team’s colors at their next City Council or Board of Commissioners meeting,” the post said.
