“Ms. Jennifer Tanay’s third-grade APEX students and Ms. Amy Doherty’s first-grade class at McKinley Elementary School…were selected as winners of the Legoland Discovery Center “Cities of the Future” Contest,” according to a statement from the Abington School District.  This contest “called for designs of what children think Philadelphia will look like 200 years from now.”

The students, according to the statement, won as a prize “a trip to the [Legoland Discovery] Center to see Master Model Builders create 3D constructions of their designs out of LEGOs.”
