The Abington School District today issued a statement thanking the Abington Senior High School Key Club and the entire school community “for their efforts to help stock five area food banks this holiday season during the annual canned food drive. ”

“Roughly 1,700 pounds of goods (nearly 80 boxes) were collected,” according to the statement from the School District.  “Special thanks to our athletes who helped carry all those items out to school buses so they could be delivered around our area.”
