The Abington School District announced that BusPatrol technology will come to all district school buses beginning Monday, February 3.

“The district’s fleet of 102 buses has been modernized with advanced safety technology, including photo enforcement cameras to detect vehicles that illegally pass stopped school buses,” the district said. “This initiative aims to reduce dangerous driving behavior and enhance student safety.”

Upper Moreland schools first enrolled in the program in January 2023. Cheltenham schools enrolled in September 2023.
