The Abington School District honored military service members and veteran alumni through a special presentation for Veterans Day on Friday, November 10.

The presentation, titled “Veterans Day Career Chatter,” included a panelist-led discussion featuring veteran teachers, alumni, and community members, each of whom are or were members of the US Army, National Guard, the Army National Guard, and the US Marine Corps.

Each veteran was given an opportunity to share their military experiences and discuss their paths from military service to careers.

Employees of the district who are current and former members of the Air Force, the Army, the Navy, and the Marine Corps will be honored as well.
