The Abington School District recently announced that AbingTHON’s 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk will be held on Saturday, November 18 at Abington Senior High School beginning at 9:00am.

AbingTHON is a community service club dedicated to helping families affected by pediatric cancer.  All proceeds from the race will go to the Sara’s Smiles Foundation and Shane’s Future Days.

In related news, the district showed appreciation for those from Highland Elementary’s past, present and future who came to celebrate the elementary school’s 100th anniversary on Saturday, October 14.
