The School District of Abington has released its agenda for tomorrow night’s meeting. Planned for the meeting is a final vote on the 2019-2020 budget of $165,701,098 for 2019-2020.

What should come as great relief to Abington’s property owners is the news that the District plans no property tax increase for this year.

The budget does leave the District with $23,529,617 of your money left over, however. While the District will cite many reasons the necessity for reserving so much cash, it nevertheless represents an interest-free loan from tax-payers.
