The Abington and Rockledge police departments have announced their Halloween candy giveaway events for kids and families, and My Salon Suite in Abington will be hosting their first annual “Candy Coated Suites” event this month as well.

The lineup leading up to the holiday:

Abington Police Truck-or-Treat

Sunday, October 22 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at the Abington Police Station

Candy Coated Suites

Thursday, October 26 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at the 25+ suites at My Salon Suite, 1417 Old York Road in Abington.

The event’s organizers note that the community is invited to meet each suite owner as well as additional small business owners. Treats for kids will be offered during the event.

Saturday, October 28 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at 535 Rhawn Street, Philadephia

Rockledge Police Trunk-or-Treat

Saturday, October 29 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Rockledge Firehouse

Halloween

Tuesday, October 31 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Rockledge Police Station

“We have lots of candy to give away for Halloween thanks to Mayor Jim Caffrey and our former Mayor, Harold Praediger, both of whom are donating more chocolate this year than Willy Wonka and Milton Hershey combined. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for their generosity,” Rockledge Chief of Police John Gallager said in a Facebook post.
