The Abington Raiders, a youth football and cheerleading program, announced that Shawn Peak has been appointed the organization’s new president.
According to the announcement, Peak played football for the Raiders in his younger years and “brings years of coaching experience across football, basketball, and baseball.” An Abington High School graduate, he served as an assistant coach for the Raiders’ 7U football team in 2025 and will move up with the players to coach the 8U team this season.
“Since day one, Shawn has been focused on moving the organization forward with a vision centered on player development, community involvement, accountability, and creating the best possible experience for every Raider family,” the announcement says. “His passion for youth sports and dedication to the Raiders mission make him a natural leader for the future of the program.”
