The Abington Township Police Department recently shared a notice regarding road closures and parking restrictions for the July 4th holiday.

From their Facebook post:

The Greater Glenside Independence Day Parade and Fireworks will be held on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023. As in years past, there will be parking restrictions in the parade staging area and along the route. There will also be parking restrictions in the area around the high school where the fireworks are viewed.

These areas will be posted with “NO PARKING” as a reminder to all residents on July 3rd. If you will be away during this event, please do not park on the street. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
