Sergeant Anthony Space of the Abington Township Police Department has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, officials announced today.

According to the department, Lt. Space previously served in the Philadelphia Police Department before joining Abington’s force in 2012. He was elevated to Sergeant in 2020.

“Throughout his time with us, Anthony has taken on various roles that have contributed to his progression towards becoming a Commander within the Police Department,” the department said.
