The Abington Township Police Department responded to reports of a domestic shooting on the 1800 block of Lukens Avenue in Willow Grove on Thursday evening.

Police alerted the community to a large police presence around 6:00pm on Thursday, followed by “The scene has been cleared. Lukens Avenue is now back open.” roughly three hours later.

According to Patch, a man was shot and is in stable condition.

Attention Residents: There is currently a large police presence in the area of 1800 block of Lukens Avenue. Everything is under control and there is no threat to the community. Please avoid the area if possible. Thank you!
