The Abington Police Department announced that stuffed animal replicas of their K9 dogs, Shadow and Moose, are currently available for those looking for a cuddly way to support the K9 unit in Abington. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go toward the department’s K9 unit.

The real Shadow and Moose became members of the township’s self-funded K9 unit in 2021. Shadow is a 21-month-old German Shepard originally from the Czech Republic, and Moose was the first bloodhound to serve on a Montgomery County police force.
