Homes in Abington Township are still seeing a viral social media challenge in which people kick or pound on front doors, NBC10 reported.

The “door kick” challenge often takes place late at night while homeowners are asleep. Abington police warned of the “reckless and dangerous TikTok trend” last July.

Residents in King of Prussia and Royersford have been posting videos of the incidents, some of which have damaged properties, according to police.

Abington lieutenant Joe Blei told NBC10 that residents are encouraged to call 911 if they witness or experience the trend in their neighborhood.

“We always have officers in neighborhoods and want police to handle this,” Blei said.
