The Abington Township Police Department announced that it will be conducting a Traffic Safe-T Program from Saturday, June 1 through Sunday, June 30.

According to the department, the program combines driver education with increased traffic enforcement, and is a community-wide initiative involving the township’s board of commissioners, administration, and participating citizens and neighborhood groups.

Residents may participate by placing home lawn signs encouraging drivers to slow down throughout the month of June. Signs may be obtained by contacting your commissioner or the Abington police’s Traffic Safety Unit at 267-536-1078.
