Abington Library to host NYT bestselling author, Roslyn Park playground construction underway

Jennifer Weiner, a New York Times bestselling author, will be joining the Abington Township Public Library for a conversation about her latest novel, “The Breakaway”, at Penn State Abington on Monday, April 8, at 6:30pm.

Weiner will be discussing her books, personal experiences, and women’s search for a sense of self. She will be joined by Lauren Greaves, Vice President of the Abington Township Public Library’s Board of Trustees.

Weiner will be signing copies of her book, which will be sold through Capricorn Books after the event.

In related news, Abington Township announced that construction for the new playground at Roslyn Park is underway.

The park has been closed since Monday, February 12 to remove the existing playground. The new installation is expected to be completed by April.
