A local hospital recently donated a life-saving medication to area police departments.

“Abington – Jefferson Health recently donated 36 doses of Narcan to local police departments to ensure that each officer has this lifesaving medication on hand,” according to a statement from Abington – Jefferson Health.  “Pictured [in the top photograph]…are Dr. Gerry Cleary, Sergeant Roger Gillispie of the Abington Township Police Department, Ms. Nancy DeAngelis and Ms. Genene Amoi-Pigliacelli.  Sergeant Gillispie accepted the donation and will distribute doses to other police departments in the community.”
