The Abington School District shared today that high school teacher Danielle Lips led a group of alumni and current students to Senegal, West Africa to build a new school for the village children.

The group included alumni students Caroline Cook, John Ford, Molly Stevenson, Abby Cassidy and Sophia Diaz, along with rising sophomore Watson Van Ekelenburg, rising juniors Gregory Frey, Kaycie Applegate and Abigail Cotter, and rising senior Jolene Frey.
