Abington high school students reunite with German exchange partners

Students and parents of Abington Senior High School gathered on campus to greet 45 exchange students from Karlsgymnasium, Germany, who will be participating members of the school community for the next three weeks.

30 Abington student had visited the exchange students in their homeland earlier this summer.

Willkommen! 38 Abington students of German and their families excitedly greeted their 45 German exchange partners from Karlsgymnasium in the Bavarian town of Bad Reichenhall, accompanied by their teachers, Cornelia Grabichler and Johannes Kindermann. It was a joyful reunion for 30 of the Abington students, who had visited their partners in Germany six weeks ago. The Abington students are looking forward to giving their German partners the insider’s perspective on the life of an American high school student for the next three weeks by attending class, football games, and touring the area.
