The Abington School District completed its job for another 556 students last night, sending them off to college, other gainful employment, or maybe backpacking across Europe with diplomas, words of wisdom, and hopefully some very happy memories.

Speakers at the event included Andy Jeon and Rebecca Gable, two students traditionally selected by their peers, class valedictorian Brecon Hession, and class salutatorian Samantha Simon.

To those going to college in the fall, I’ll leave you with the best piece of advice anyone ever gave me: Stay in college for as long as possible. They are the best years of your life!
