Noah Coslov, a professional sportcaster and a 2000 graduate of Abington Senior High School, recently released the 200th episode of “The Follow Up”, a weekly podcast between Coslov and his daughter, Eden.
The conversations invite his daughter, now nine years old, to talk about what’s on her mind. The series started in 2020 as a way to continue to build Eden’s communication skills during the pandemic.
Each episode ends like this…
These 40 secs brought me great joy (and tears), so maybe it will for you also.

Coslov hosted an NBA-centric podcast called “Rejecting The Screen” until 2021. He has also served as the host and managing editor of CineSport, an online network of sports content, a play-by-play analyst for CBS Sports Network, as well as a radio play-by-play announcer for the AA Reading Phillies, followed by stops at NBA Entertainment and MLB.com.
He got his unofficial start in sports broadcasting at Boston University as sports director of a student-run radio station.
According to BU, he used to fall asleep listening to sports talk shows on Philadelphia’s WIP-610 AM, and when he woke up in the morning, he would grab the Philadelphia Inquirer and head straight to the sports section.
“When most kids at eight years old want to be firefighters or astronauts. I wanted to be a sports broadcaster,” Coslov said. “I learned how to read by reading the sports pages. I learned how to read a box score before I was able to read Dr. Seuss.”
