Cire Worley, a 2023 graduate of Abington Senior High School and a sophomore guard at Coppin State University, was recently featured by City of Basketball Love.
Worley transferred from UMass-Lowell prior to the 2024-25 season. According to the story, she has battled through injuries to earn a starting role on the team.
“Our coach is going to play the best five, and he’s not going to sub if that’s what he thinks is working,” Worley said. “So I think that’s what got me here, because our coach was like, ‘Alright, if you rock, you’re usually going to keep playing.’”

She also operates a clothing business named “Bucket Get(Her)” with her sister, Taylor Linton, a freshman at Germantown Friends School.
The sisters started the line after noticing few options at major retail outlets specifically for female basketball players. Their company has since grown into a national platform to shine light on the girls’ game.
