Abington Friends School (AFS) seeks a full-time Director of Family and Alumni Engagement (“Director”) to play a key role within the School’s Advancement team to build relationships with parents/guardians, alumni, and the broader AFS community in support of the school’s engagement, fundraising and strategic communications goals. The Director will be the principal liaison for alumni and parent programming and volunteer leadership. This role will be a key collaborator with the Home & School Association (H&S) to plan parent events and engagement, to manage volunteers and on-campus partnerships, and to contribute to the school’s weekly e-newsletter to parents. They will manage local, regional and national alumni engagement events and produce the monthly e-newlsetter to alumni. The Director will collaboratively partner with the Director of Event Operations and the Communications team on event and alumni and parent/guardian-related communications. They will also evaluate current parent and alumni programs and activities and develop new programs as necessary. The Director of Family and Alumni Engagement reports to the Assistant Head of School for Institutional Advancement and Enrollment Management.
