The Abington Township Public Library is hosting its annual Garden Festival on Saturday, March 23 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at 1030 Old York Road.
The event features free gardening-oriented entertainment for all ages, including:
- Meet the goats from the Rose Bridge Farm and Sanctuary
- Participate in the Free Seed Exchange
- Children ages 5-12 can get artsy with crafts
- Learn about native pollinators and view a bird house, bat box, and bee hive
- Chat with local plant, animal, and environmental experts from Penn State Master Watershed & Master Gardener programs, FarmerJawn Agriculture, Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership, Elena the Sustainability Expert, and more to come!
Attendees can enter a free drawing for tickets to Longwood Gardens and a copy of “The Last Garden in England” by Julia Kelly.
