Abington for Peace and Abington Pride have co-organized an event with thirty other community sponsors for the Respect & Protect Our Trans Community Rally at Crestmont Park (2595 Rubicam Avenue in Willow Grove) on Friday, October 3 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Founder of Abington for Peace and Abington Pride Amy Martin says that “the trans community deserves to be respected and protected now more than ever. It’s our responsibility as allies to stand up and push back against harmful rhetoric. We must promote empathy for those in the trans community, who are just trying to live their lives in peace.”

The rally will include speakers, performers, and information tables.
