The Abington Community United Soccer Club will host a “Beef & Beer for Maddie” gala on Friday, May 31 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the North Penn VFW in Glenside.

From the event’s description:

AC United Soccer Club is devoted to the community and its players. Maddie is on our 2011 girls team and was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma.  As awful as this is it is not the first time this family has had to battle cancer, her mom was recently placed in remission for breast cancer. AC United is hosting a Beef and Beer fundraiser to help offset their increasing medical bills. Any donation for a raffle is greatly appreciated. Thanks
