The Abington School District is set to accept the resignation of Mrs. Jennifer O’Rourke from the Abington Board of School Directors during September 6’s board meeting. O’Rourke’s resignation became effective on August 27. She has served on the board since 2017.

Agenda items for the 7:30pm meeting include school safety and security updates for the 2022-23 school year, personnel recommendations, buildings and grounds permits, expenditure approvals, and a capital improvement report.

The meeting will be broadcast through a YouTube live stream. Comments from citizens will be conducted live, and a telephone number to participate in public comment will be provided on the screen.
