State Rep. Napoleon Nelson announced grant funding for multiple arts and cultural institutions in the region, including the Abington Arts Center and Storybook Musical Theater in Melrose Park.

According to his announcement, Abington Arts will receive $22.265 and Storybook will receive $10,000.

Last month, he announced that Jenkintown’s Hiway Theatre Inc. will receive $20,662 in assistance, and The Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center in Elkins Park will receive $15,077.

Nelson represents the 154^th Legislative District comprised of Cheltenham, Jenkintown and Springfield in Montgomery County.
