Abington art students recognized, Middle School kicks off annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

During Abington School District’s Board meeting on Tuesday, October 24, students who contributed to the 2023-2024 Abington School District Art Exhibit were recognized, and Abington Middle School’s Student Council is sponsoring its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Dr. Matthew Harris, Supervisor of Fine Arts, along with the District’s art teachers, curated the 2023-2024 Art Exhibit in the Administration Building.

The students’ artworks, each of which were dedicated to the Administration Building, will be on display for four years. To view them, you can click here.

Abington School District has been named an Outstanding Visual Arts Community by the Pennsylvania Art Education Association. The recognition is based on the district’s art programs which have been deemed rigorous, inclusive, accessible, and visible.
