Abington Art Center is partnering with Golden-Thread Labyrinths to create a permanent community labyrinth on their grounds.

To build the outline of the labyrinth, the center is hosting Rock Collecting Days on Saturdays from October 25 – November 8 from 9:00am – 1:00pm at the Sculpture Park entrance located at 515 Meetinghouse Road in Jenkintown.

“Volunteers will carry and place the rocks that form the outline of the labyrinth. After Thanksgiving, we will move into the installation phase, aiming to complete the labyrinth by Winter Solstice,” the announcement said. “No prior experience needed. Families and individuals of all ages are welcome—bring gloves, sturdy shoes, and any wheelbarrows, wagons, or tools (pick axe, shovels, digging bars) you’d like to contribute.”
