Leslie Jacoby Hack, 36, of Wyndmoor, was featured by The Philadelphia Inquirer for cofounding Mosey, an online shop that sells consigned baby clothes.
The inspiration came from Hack’s and cofounder Lou Lou Goss-Woliner’s experiences with their own children. Hack works for eBay’s toy department and previously worked for Urban Outfitters, The Inquirer said.
Customers buy a $25 bag to fill with clothing, which they then mail it to Mosey in exchanged for a $30 online store credit to purchase secondhand items.
The business has no physical space, but Hack and Goss-Woliner expect to have a warehouse in Philadelphia by next year, The Inquirer said.
From Mosey’s website:
Mosey is an ecosystem for fun, timeless children’s clothing, where you can buy new and pre-loved styles, send back what no longer fits, and feel good every step of the way. We’re putting our two-plus decades in resale and retail to work, creating a simpler, more seamless way to keep kids’ clothes in play.
