Valerie Sneddon, 59, an Abington Township resident known in her community for her generosity toward family and friends, received a new heating and cooling system at no cost through Lennox’s Feel The Love® program, installed by AAA Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning. The installation was an especially meaningful gift right on her birthday.
Valerie was nominated by her daughter, who shared that her mother has always been willing to help people in need. Over the years, Valerie has welcomed family members and friends into her home while they worked to get back on their feet. Among them were her nieces, granddaughter, and her son’s best friend. She offered them not only a place to stay but also home-cooked meals and a supportive environment during difficult times.
Before the installation, Valerie relied on five window air-conditioning units for cooling, and her existing heating system was well past its prime. The new system provides central heating and cooling, bringing greater comfort to her home.
Having lived in the house for seven years, Valerie remembers falling in love with its fireplace the moment she first saw it. When she learned she had been selected for Lennox’s Feel The Love® program, she said the news was “unbelievable.”
For Valerie, the new heating and cooling system means more than a home improvement—it brings “peace of mind and security,” allowing her to feel more comfortable in the home she loves.
AAA Brothers Gives Back to the Community
For AAA Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning, participating in Feel The Love® was a meaningful way to recognize the community that has supported the company’s growth for nearly four decades.
“For close to 40 years, we’ve been fortunate to provide comfort and service to homes throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties,” said Alexander Apelstin, founder of AAA Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning. “This community has welcomed us and helped us grow. We’ve always believed in finding ways to give back, so when Lennox introduced us to the Feel The Love® program, we jumped at the chance to participate.”
Valerie’s story made the initiative especially meaningful to the team.
“She opened her home to people who needed help, welcomed them with open arms, and provided a safe haven. In many ways, her story reflects the sense of community that has meant so much to us over the years. Montgomery County has been our home for a long time, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support someone who has done so much for others.”
The installation brought the AAA Brothers team together to contribute its time and expertise to a project rooted in compassion and community support.
