The Abington Township Police Department is now accepting applications for the 2027 Police Officer Examination.

Applicants are urged to review all requirements and complete the online application prior to the submission deadline on April 2, 2027.

To be eligible to participate in the examination process, applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years of age on or before the application deadline
• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Be a United States Citizen
• Be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer
• Comply with the Department’s Personal Appearance Policy (General Order 41.3.4) regarding tattoos, branding, and body piercings
