Kevin Feiner, a Life Member of the Elkins Park Fire Company, was recently honored for his 50th year of volunteer service.
According to the post, Feiner has held every administrative position except Chief and almost every operational position in the company during his tenure.
During a meeting in June, he was also named a recipient of the Richard I. Hesselbacher Award, the company’s highest honor.
“Kevin’s service leaves an impression not only on those he’s saved and served throughout the years, but on generations of firefighters that he has and continues to train, guide, and support,” the post said. “Kevin Feiner, you are a gem. Thank you for your service.”
