Greater Glenside Patriotic Association to host ‘Great American Bake Sale & Competition’ on June 20 at Elcy’s Cafe, handmade quilt to be raffled

The Greater Glenside Patriotic Association (GGPA) will host a “Great American Bake Sale & Competition” from 10:00am – 12:00pm on Saturday, June 20 at Elcy’s Cafe (1 W Glenside Avenue, Cheltenham Township).

The competition will serve as a fundraiser for this year’s 4th of July parade. Eight area residents will be competing to be crowned “Glenside’s Best Baker 2026”: Tracey Diamond Ehlers, Maria Reitano, Alice Dougherty, Ed Boyd, Joyce Sadowski, Elizabeth Seiter, Jessica Tam, and Daniela Sacchetti.

Once the bake sale is underway, each baker will present their treats to three judges: Laura Chapman of Elcy’s Cafe, Linda Fiore of Antoinette’s Bake Shop, and Tom Heck of Heck of a Cookie.
