Abington Township officials and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of the environmental infrastructure improvement project at both Roychester and Grove parks on Thursday, September 25 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm at Roychester Park.

USACE began work in late 2024 to stabilize, naturalize, and improve the ecosystem’s function along Sandy Run Creek at Roychester Park. Construction at Grove Park began in March. The projects cost $2.1 million.
