Jenkintown Music Theatre’s production of Bright Star has been nominated in 12 categories for the 2024 BroadwayWorld Philadelphia Awards.
The show opened on Friday, April 5 with a red-carpet gala in celebration of Jenkintown’s 150-year anniversary and JMT’s 79-year legacy in the community. The Kuykendall Auditorium at Jenkintown High School hosted six performances between April 5 and April 13.

- Austin Ginsberg: Best Costume Design Of A Play Or Musical
- Jennifer Corsanico Berger: Best Direction Of A Musical
- Bill Pross: Best Lighting Design Of A Play Or Musical
- Ed Conrad: Best Music Direction & Orchestra Performance
- Alex Atiyeh: Best Performer In A Musical
- Eliot Curtis: Best Scenic Design Of A Play Or Musical
- Eliot Curtis: Best Sound Design Of A Play Or Musical
- Jenn Abrevaya: Best Supporting Performer In A Musical
The theater was also nominated for Favorite Local Theatre. The Village Players of Hatboro was nominated as well.
