Mable Amanda Tabb, a Lower Moreland High School graduate and retired U.S. Foreign Service officer, died on Thursday, October 24, 2024. She was 93.

According to her obituary, Ms. Tabb captained Lower Moreland’s girls’ basketball team and later graduated from Temple University.

A Bryn Athyn native, she went on to a 20-year career in the U.S. State Department, serving abroad in a number of European nations and Australian provinces.

She was also a gourmet chef, a seasoned traveler, and a tennis enthusiast.

Services are planned for the spring of 2025, her obituary said.
