NariYella of Elkins Park, MAFIA of Abington to kick off Abington Art Center Summer Concert Series on Thursday

The 2024 Abington Art Center Summer Concert Series will kick off this Thursday, June 27 with performances by NariYella of Elkins Park and MAFIA of Abington.

The concert’s gates will open at 5:30pm. NariYella will perform at 6:30pm, MAFIA at 7:30pm.

About the Artists

MAFIA (short for Middle Aged Funk in Abington) is the premier party band in Montgomery County, PA. The band delivers an energetic + diverse set with elements of funk, hip-hop, dance and pop…and even some choice classic rock songs to keep you shaking it all night. They were finalists in the House Band Competition on Philadelphia-based classic rock radio station 102.9 WMGK.

NariYella is a 22-year-old Elkins Park native who has spent her life honing her craft as a powerhouse vocalist and dynamic performer. She is about to release her debut EP on Valentine’s Day 2024.

Last year, she was a contestant on Season 23 of NBC’s “The Voice”, scoring a four-chair turn, and ultimately choosing Chance the Rapper as her coach. Driven by a deep connection to music and a mission to make a positive impact, NariYella is an overall creative entrepreneur and a rising star in the world of Hip Hop, R&B, and Soul.
