Tommy Walsh, a senior on the Jenkintown High School boys’ basketball team, dropped his 1,000th career point in a 62-42 win over Lehigh Valley High School on Tuesday, February 6.

Walsh finished with a career-high 32 points, boosting his overall total to 1,030, 7th all-time for the boys’ program.

The Drakes have earned Bicentennial Athletic League (BAL) and district playoff berths this year. They will host Christopher Dock in the first round on Thursday at 4:30pm.

In related news, first-year head coach Jamal Elliot’s Lady Drakes finished their season 9-11 overall, 7-4 in conference.
