Barry Steinman, a Glenside native and a 1975 graduate of Cheltenham High School, was recently named the new general manager of the Famous 4th Street Delicatessen, located at Fourth and Bainbridge streets in the Queen Village section of Philadelphia.

Steinman, a longtime local caterer, was most recently the Director of Catering for Max’s Catering Company in Erdenheim, according to his LinkedIn page.

According to local historian Chuck Langerman, he attended the Restaurant School of Philadelphia and Temple University.
