Dolce Luna Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria, located at the former site of Riviera D’Italia, is a family-owned addition to Roslyn.

“Riviera’s owners were here for over 30 years, but we still have the same food,” co-owner Hesiquio Palacios, a lifetime Glenside resident, said. “We made a new menu with a couple new Spanish dishes with new flavors.”

Palacios, a 25-year veteran of the kitchen, owns Dolce Luna with his uncle, Marciel, and a close family friend.

“My uncle has been in the kitchen for 35 years. We own our recipes for the pizza, the spaghetti and alfredo sauce, the wine sauce. We make our chicken breasts with our own marinade. It’s very good. All the pastas, cheesesteaks, pizza, salads, soups are made fresh every day. We also make homemade chili. Cream of mushroom, tomato, chicken, many kinds.

As of late August, the restaurant also added a breakfast menu, offered each Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 11:00am.

They provide pickup and delivery and are open from 11:00am to 9:00am Sunday through Thursday, from 11:00am to 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday.
