From Lower Moreland Police Department’s announcement:

For many years, the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company has hosted an OPEN HOUSE in recognition of Fire Prevention Week in October. They have been educating the public on safety measures and plans in the event of fires, gas leaks, or carbon monoxide leaks. The HVFC’s demos at these events have included vehicle rescues, controlled fires, as well as many red firetrucks to climb.

The Lower Moreland Police Department has always attended these events to educate the public from a police standpoint. THIS YEAR, we are opening our doors to those same people with more to show.

This event will be a soft opening for Lower Moreland Township Police.  Come on by and bring your family to enjoy this fun-filled day with us. LMPD will be including the following units/tables for you to explore and ask questions about what the police department can do for you:
– Patrol Division
– SWAT
– K9
– Bike Patrol
– Detective’s Mock Scene
– Police Chaplain Program
– Ukrainian-American Resource Table
– Albanian-American Resource Table
– Mobile Crisis – Women’s Center
– Office of Community Information and Education, MontCo DHHS – GIVEAWAYS & MORE!!

We hope to see you all there!
