Two New York men have been sentenced for delivering Mexican fentanyl to undercover Pennsylvania state police troopers in Upper Moreland Township.
Wadimyr Jiminez Sanchez, 30, admitted to importing 500 grams of fentanyl from Mexico in exchange for $14,000 in January 2022, and has been sentenced to 5½ to 15 years in prison on charges of possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy to deliver.
Sanchez’s co-conspirator, Pablo Pedro Rosario, 44, also of New York, chauffeured Sanchez to Upper Moreland. He was sentenced to 5 to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver fentanyl.
The arrest was the culmination of a Pennsylvania State Police trooper-led investigation into a Mexican drug trafficking organization which had been importing and distributing narcotics into the U.S.
