Student-athletes from Abington and Cheltenham high schools took part in the 127th annual Penn Relays last weekend, and many of them came home with medals around their necks.
From Abington, the 4x400M relay team made up of Luke Coleman, Keith Axten, Jamir McClinton, and Tyler Abraham took first place in the Suburban National and Philly Area races.
For Cheltenham, Ke’Nai Massiah, Nathan Hoffman, Traeon Bradsher and Jordan Sowell won the Suburban One American Boys 4x400M relay in a time of 3:22.42.

Adjoa Amoh, Kira Murray, Michelle Korsah, Eyota Bey combined for second place in the Suburban One American Girls 4x400M in 4:00.17, less than half a second off the winning time. Jordan Elmine, Sean Alston, Tamir Erwin and Davon Gavin finished third in the Ninth Grade 4x100M relay with a time of 46.12. In the Philadelphia Area Boys 4×400, Massiah, Hoffman, Bradsher and Sowell took fifth place in 3:26.51. Congratulations to all the runners! #PantherPride
