Kerri Conner Matchett of Jenkintown died Monday, December 5, of metastatic breast cancer. She was 48.
Matchett was a graduate of Abington High School and a partner and head of accounting at Anita T. Conner & Associates in Jenkintown.
She married Steven Miles Matchett in 2010 and they had three children, daughters Madison and Haniyah and son James.
Matchett was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2008. She underwent surgery, received treatments, and eventually returned to work. She and her mother, also a breast cancer survivor, fundraised for Praise Is the Cure, a breast cancer awareness nonprofit. Matchett published My Mommy Has Breast Cancer, But She Is OK! in 2010.
