Video from yesterday’s peaceful protest in Cheltenham

A participant in yesterday’s protest in Cheltenham Township, Ambler Malone, shared with GlensideLocal.com video from the protest.

The protest took place along Tookany Creek Parkway with the group walking to the Elkins Park School. The Cheltenham Township Police Department blocked off the roadway so they could march safely.

During the march, the protestors chanted “no justice no peace” and once at the school, everyone took a knee for eight minutes of silence. Those who spoke discussed peace and standing together as the issue isn’t just about black and white, but justice.

In cheltenham we stand together
