A new mixed-use development is under construction on Willow Grove Avenue in Wyndmoor.  The site is marked by the red box on the map above.

Located at 909 East Willow Grove Avenue, 909 Willow will include food establishments, a fitness studio, and residential elements.

Three food establishments have already leased space in the new development:

Enza  – a restaurant focused on pizza, pasta dishes, and vegetable fare with a liquor license.

Locals – a coffee house with a bagel bar;  it will also serve breakfast sandwiches as well as light lunches.

Captain Andy’s Market – a food market that will sell groceries, meats, seafood, and produce;  prepared foods will be available to take home.

In addition to the food establishments, Pure Barre, a fitness studio, has leased space at 909 Willow.

These four businesses are anticipated to open in the Spring of 2019.

According to Mr. Gabe Amzallag of MSC Retail, approximately 2,800 square feet of retail space – suitable for use by one or two tenants – is still available for lease.  Mr. Amzallag was the leasing agent for both the landlord and tenants involving the transactions involving Captain Andy’s Market and Locals.  Mr. Andrew Shpigel of MSC Retail was the leasing agent for the tenant Pure Barre.

“This development has come together with several new exciting concepts that are community-focused, family friendly, all coupled with new construction and accessible parking,” stated Mr. Amzallag.

Ten, two-bedroom condominium units are available for sale above the commercial establishments.  The residential component of 909 Willow is being marketed by the SivelGroup of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach.

The developer of Willow 909 declined to disclose the estimated construction cost for this mixed-use project.
