6ABC covers world premiere of Hidden: The Musical, the story of a Jenkintown resident and Holocaust survivor

Jenkintown resident Ruth Kapp Hartz is highlighted in a new musical called “HIDDEN” written by musicians and songwriters David and Jenny Heitler-Klevans of Cheltenham. The world premiere will take place in Jenkintown this weekend, and was recently featured by 6ABC News.

“I never expected this to happen in the autumn of my life,” Ruth told 6ABC. “I’m very excited, especially because in the context of the Holocaust, not many people know what happened to hidden children.”

The premiere is a staged concert reading on May 20 at 7:30pm and May 21 at 2:00pm at the Abington Friends School, Josephine Muller Theatre, 575 Washington Lane, Jenkintown. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students/low-income and $15 for groups of 10 adults or more, and can be found here. For more information and bios, you can click here.
