The 33rd annual Jenkintown Sunset 5K Run will be held on Tuesday, June 3 at 7:00pm starting at Town Square.

The event will include music, food, and prizes for all age groups. The free Kids Dash will begin at 6:45pm with the main race to follow. Live music will be provided by Jenkintown’s Acoustic Keys featuring Lisa Rountree Ridenour and Joe Mahoney at the gazebo from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

JCA Scholarship

In related news, the Jenkintown Community Alliance (JCA) is offering a graduating Jenkintown Borough high school senior a $3,000 scholarship to put towards their post-secondary studies.

The application is open to any senior, in any school, who has demonstrated a strong interest in the arts in its many forms. Applicants do not need to intend to enroll in an art-related major or program to be eligible for the scholarship.  

Applications are due by Friday, May 30 via email to Leo Greenberry, Leo@jenkintown.net. The winner will be notified in early June. The scholarship funds will be sent to the winning applicant in the fall of 2025.
